when you can buy a complete long block for under $500 shipped inside the us its worth it. or slap a ebay turbo kit on there if you want noticible gains...i/h/e doesnt add much for a d series. forced induction or nitrous

#304185 dont take my word for this..but as far as intake manifold goes...im pretty sure you can get a stock one from a D16Y8 head (96-98 EX)..from what i hear its the best flowing stock IM and it bolts right up...just be sure to get the 96-98 and not 99-00 IM..the 99 and 2000 have the "cold start assist" ...once again..im not 100% sure so dont take my word for it..just trying to help out :thumb:

#304195 here to clear up the mani question:

the d15/d16 manifolds WILL bolt right up, BUT depending on which motor you're running will greatly determine which mani is right for you.

i am running a Z6 mani on my D15B. works fine, BUT the port sizes are different which effects how much air my motor gets.. which isn't ideal.
