- Thu Jan 07, 2010 1:46 am #166430 good day EG peeps! im a noob here and just need some assistance with my EG.

i went to work today from Las pinas to makati took the SLEX and then when i reached makati i noticed that my temperature has risen to about 3/4 of the gauge... a/c on. but when i turn off the a/c the temperature goes down as well.

usually my temp us 1/3 of the gauge and never goes halfway.
what could be the problem?? i dont want to overheat.

- Thu Jan 07, 2010 2:09 am #166437 well maybe you need either a reflush of your coolant check your coolant also....how hot was it outside? normally having the a/c on puts more stress on teh motor thusly leading to a higher temp im not sure if 3/4's is too high i know that mine is normally halfway always....

you may also want to check your thermostat since that will allow coolant to pass at a certain temp and maybe it may not be functioning correctly...

and make sure your radiator fans working as well
