A free tip;
The DOHC D16 engines weakest spots are the oilpump, waterpump and main bearings (after the oil or waterpump malfunctions, that's the thing you are going to lose function of first).
The D16a9 is a bit stronger than a z5 on those three points.
As long as they're good, a 'ZC' will be fine.
I had two of 'm in my CRX, first one hasn't ran in a year (never knew that, everything looked very good etc. etc.), so I blew it within 5k km.
Second one had almost 300.000 km on it, and was a gamble... I had to take because there was nothing else at the moment.
So that one was blown as well, after misteriously losing 2 or 3 liters of oil in a few days.
So if you're going to build a ZC, keep in mind you have to take some precaution on that ;)
By the way... don't you just love the mean sound a DOHC D-series produces
