- Thu Aug 20, 2009 6:18 am #138915 when i turn on the car it has that notorious honda cold idle but at the peak of that idle which is about 1.5k there is a knock as if it was a valve knock but in normal acceleration it disappears. wtf?

- Thu Aug 20, 2009 2:56 pm #138952 does it go away when it warms up? how many miles on the engine? i would bet piston slap cause your tolerances are wearing down.... either that or i read an article on ignition knock that goes away when it warms up,

any codes?
