- Mon Mar 09, 2009 1:10 am #101562 So I bought a 1996 Civic CX hatchback, and I was trying to find out what OBD it is then found out that it is OBD-2. Just want to ask, what other Honda engines are OBD-2? Does anyone have a list? I tried googling it but all I got was for sale threads lol.

- Mon Mar 09, 2009 3:00 am #101595 Yours would be obd2a, the 99-00 use obd2b. There is a small difference. Lots of motors are obd2. everything from 96 on up is obd2. you can grab GSRs, B16as, LS, B20s. Its easy to find them.

- Mon Mar 09, 2009 6:03 am #101645 SO what's the difference between a and b? And it's good to know that GSRs are OBD-2 because that's one of my engine swap choices. The other engine would probably be a K, depending on the budget too..
