I've gotten the metal clip that holds the lock into place off, and have removed the lock.

Where i'm stuck is the medal rod that is screwed into the handle, which is connected to the lock mechanism...

Without breaking anything, how have you gotten this off? i've done it before, but i broke the handle in the process. lol

For those that wonder for later on.

I removed the very bottom bolt on the door that holds one of the tracks in place and moved the track a bit, which allowed me to pull further up on the handle, so i could unscrew it!
