The one I pieced together will use the civic's "rain gutters". If you go to the Yakima site you can buy the basic rack for $299. That should be every thing you need minus the fairing and any rack(bike/ski) you wanna put up top. When all is done and said I'll have $155 in mine and that'll include the fairing and shipping. Make sure you buy the right Q clips. Most systems made to work with rain gutters will fit if you have the right Qclips.
that sounds reasonable man. I was curious as to how easily I could piece once together. What parts are required for just a ski rack?
Does it all work with the rail system on the roof or is it a clamp system?
