- Wed Feb 27, 2008 7:10 pm #43897 ok im 17 and have a 95 civic ex sedan its not terribly slow but it aint fast either i plan to do a motor swap in the future but with tight funds being that im in school and only work part time and my parents dont help with shit that will be a while probably be a while so this is what im lookin for cheap ways to make my car faster and get better gas milage if possible seeing that i drive 650 miles a week and its an auto thanks guys

- Thu Feb 28, 2008 1:06 am #43952 Most Common mods are Intake, Headers, Exhaust or I/H/E So if you get a 2.5" Exhaust, Headers or an Intake that will set you up.

The Intake will be the easiest. just get a cheap one of ebay. or modify the one you have in your car.

Turbos can be cheap if you get Junkyard parts. However I would not recommend that unless you do alot of research on it. Doing I/H/E or as much of them as you can will help you out.

- Thu Feb 28, 2008 1:30 am #43961 yeah im currently saving up money for that too my whole front end is completely shot bushings tie end control arms and i need cv axels too my car is a mess but the motor and tranny are in great shape so i know that will help but im going to replace everything at once i have a set of adjustable lowering springs already just waitin for the money for the rest but thanks for the commeny btw congrats on ride of the month thats sick i hope to get that one day

Check out ebay for a cheap header, Craigslist is another good site for the cheap. There is always Honda parts on there in Washington. I am getting a DC Header for 50 Bucks from someone I know locally.

Be Careful on getting an Exhaust Header + Exhaust if you have to get your emissions checked. In Washington State we are lucky enough to not have to have those checked :thumb:
