there is the three stage vtec witch is odb2 and has two solenoids on the head
now there is also the jdm d15b witch is the same as a d16z6 with a slightly more agressive cam and a shorter stroke bc its a 1.5 (obd1)
then there is also the non vtec jdm d15b witch is the same as a d15b here as far as i know

i am a huge fan of the obd1 jdm d15b such a fun little motor to have in a gutted car

oh wow.. i did not know that. I always thought they were all the same it was just very little if any differences.

i choose them bc they were close for shipping
i would just search for jdm motors on google and see which is closest to you
i wouldnt pay more than 700 for it shipped tho
i got mine for a little under 600
