And why is there a need to retrofit the Denji's? If I have an hid kit, won;t they look better than stock, or is there really a need to retrofit?

You won't be retrofitting the denjis, you'll be doing it to your oem or jdm headlights.
For example, putting S2000 projectors on your oem headlights.
