#7897 would the teggy type-r lump be harder to install in a dx than say a vti? if so what can be done and do i need anything extra?

#7906 im guessing your a UK member?

putting a b18c type-r lump into a VTI is pretty simple... all the gear linkage is the same, drive shafts are the same, VTI loom can be used - just needs to be slightly modded and an ecu conversion harness.

putting a b18c type-r lump into the 1.3dx is ablot harder but in a sense it will be faster because the dx model is uber light weight.

but... it will be alot more expensive to do and alot more time consuming.

you will need to change pretty much everything!

engine, gearbox, drive shafts, loom, ecu, gear linkage, brakes, fuel tank, fuel lines...
