- Thu Apr 10, 2008 11:51 am #49908 hey guys i just found this forum i have a 92 civic hatch back cx and i just got my gsr swap obd1 can you guys just tell me off the top of your heads what i need to do i think i use the gsr throtle cable am i right and anything else that my come to mind thanks

axles? ecu? how many miles are on it?

You might want to change out the clutch while you have the motor out. I added a fidanza 7lb flywheel as well.

GSR longblock
B-series tranny
B-series axles
shift linkage
B-series rear t-bracket
GSR throttle cable
GSR driver mount
USDM alternator ( BIG GREEN PLUG)
ECU

Wiring Needed...

Knock sensor
Vtec soleniod
Vtec Pressure
Secondary Butterfly
IAB
O2 sensor

Recommended to replace...

Clutch kit
Resurface flywheel or replacement
timing belt
water pump
tensioner
spark plugs and wires
Cap and rotor
Fuel fitler
GSR fuel pump or 195 Walbro ( not a most but helps a lot )

- Thu Apr 10, 2008 6:18 pm #49949 i just borrow this thread a little, i have a Honda civic Vei. I dont know what u calls it in Uk or USA but maybe VX, anyway it is a Vtec thats supose to run low fuel. Anyway, can i use that Vtec solenoid to a B18 engine??

You should be able to, You can with the vx. What color is the wire?oh yea one more thing you most likely have a three wire IACV. You will need to convert that to a two wire. Check that and see if its 2 or 3.
