#47444 So according to you guys, the only thing he did wrong was use the wrong type of car.

There really was a guy drifting a Civic before. It's possible to drift w/out using the throttle.

There's a place for pushing your car hard. Doing so on the street is stupid and criminal. Every hotshot who hurts themself and ruins their car deserves it.

No I think the "driving your vehicle in that manor on public road" is wrong the fact that he attempted it on a public road drunk in a riced out civic is just ridiculous.

#47665 Oh ok cool. Maybe it was an underlying assumption from the very beginning. But I think it needed to be said.

When you drift, you have to use the throttle to kick the back end out. It is phiscally impossible to drift a Civic as you can't drift a car with the power output to the front wheels.
Someone a while back posted a video of a Civic so called "Drifting" with the driver using the e-break. That was no Drifting, that's called sliding, there is a big difference, the word Drifting is also misused ALOT, just like it's friend, the word "JDM".

#47968 what an idiot.. me and a couple of friends/brother were in the process of building an eg coupe that the previous owner had rolled... he was trying to spin around while going and keep going in reverse while still on completely stock suspension.. the same thing that paul walker did in his lancer on 2F2F... needless to say he rolled the car..
