Blindly throwing parts at cars can get expensive, so testing them before replacement is always key! Were there any signs of trouble on your way home (before you parked) like a bouncy tach or lose of power?
I'd suggest checking the ground on the thermostat housing... Since your car is swapped its very possibly the 10mm has backed out just enough to cause issues.
If its not that, test the coil and ICM (ignition control module).
