- Mon Jan 11, 2010 6:45 am #167518 so every that have read my " someone hit me thread" knows my situation with the sol. so it ends up im going to get about 2500 for the damage. i was wonder if i should sell the sol for 3500 and i have about 3000 saved up and a eg that im thinking about selling for 2500. so if i work till the summer i think ill have enough for a s2000. i was thinking either get a s2000 or just sell my sol and get another eg? im kinda stumped on this cause i read many people say get teh s2000 cause everyone is switching up in the game to higher grade cars. and i think its pretty smart, but then again i like the eg. hahaha. idk let me know guys. your opinions are much appreciated.

- Mon Jan 11, 2010 7:25 am #167530 i just read up on the ap1 and the ap2 seems as though the ap1's are better. strange. but i would probably pick the lower millage one. cause i will be using it for daily till i get enough cash to buy a beater.

- Mon Jan 11, 2010 7:29 am #167531 ap1s are nice but id go with a another eg, cause you spend 2 on an eg, and say that other you can lower it and say drop in a k20 or a b18c and have a car thats faster than the s2k and just as fun, and imo just as sexy :thumb: :hehe:

- Mon Jan 11, 2010 7:52 am #167536 i know i would love to have a s2k but when i look at it as a fun car, and something to "toy with" personaly id just rather have a eg, i mean i have a saturn for my dd, there was nthing wrong with my hatch but i mean its a toy.. just like a s2k is, how ever this is just my veiws, to me going with something i can take pride in not just because of a status is more appeling to me. probly the main reason i rock a h22 hatch lol :?

- Mon Jan 11, 2010 7:55 am #167537 It intirely depends on what you want. If you want a Super fast street racer, get anouther Clean EG, and drop in a K20/K24 or maybe even a J32(or if you can find one a C32 from the NSX).

If you want the peace and mind that comes from having a new car going with a Ap1 s2k wouldn't be a bad idea, It will be beat in a drag by a built b20vtec eg hatch and n/a k20 eg's. But it looks cool as long as you dont do street drag a totally cool ride.

I love both S2ks and EG's. I know if I had the extra cash and didn't have to make payments I would get an AP1 S2k. I dont do any racing anymore. I do occasional cruises/meets with my local honda friends. Occasional Mountain Runs, I dont care about being the fastest or the coolest of the bunch, However an S2k defentally wont be the slowest or the lamest. I know thats the choice I would go with in your decision.

What you do or want to do with your honda will help you decide what to do.
