#141377 Theres another post on here by me, about teh civic not starting, anyway, I pulled the ECU now. It doesnt smell burned or anything.

So how can i test to make sure it is broke. bear in mind though, that i checked the engine check light, and the light stayed illuminated meaning there is a fault with the ecu.

thanks guys

#141378 some mechanics can test them but it is very pricey. depending on what ecu you have, in most cases it will be cheaper to just buy another one.

#141423 Put the ECU in question into one of your friends 92-95 Civics, Then see if their car will start.
