#60264 Hey guys,I have a 92 Dx HB with a B18c1 swap.My car eats gas and I get about mabe 15 MPG.And my car spits very light black smoke.I was told to get my car tunned or to check a map sensor.Help please.

#60287 There's no reason to tune a stock motor. If it doesn't run rich in a GSR it shouldn't run rich swapped into a Civic. Are you running the correct ECU? Injectors? Are your coolant and IAT sensors working properly? Was the engine running good beforehand or was it a JDM import? Did you check the compression? Did you get the valves adjusted?

I'm running a P28 chipped but I haven't looked into anything esle yet but thanks for the info I'll look into that as soon as possible.

I concur. Using a chipped ECU is the best way to not have your engine run right. Unless you're running a setup that absolutely needs it to function I say stick with a stock ECU.
