you should be able to open it from the inside. unless the thing is completly broken... take some pics of the latch from the inside.. you should be able to pull the rod by hand and make it open...it the rod that sit in like a lil round clip. it might b brown,blue,white,black. should be able to pull that and open.. if not im not sure. can you get some pics up?
