I have a 92 CIVIC CX, from my knowledge all 92 civics were pre wired with Vtec on the body harness...So Vtec wiring shouldnt be a problem as long as im using an engine harness wired with vtec.
I bought a d15z1, sold the engine, and am using the wiring harness off that. Seeing as how the motor came out of the Civic VX it is already wired up for vtec.
...Bottom list are things im not sure about...
1.Now there are a few wires that I am unsure of their location or meaning. First off is a 3 pin wire next to the distrubutor. Colors are (Yellow/white..White/Black..Green/white). The connector itself plugs into an EGR I had laying around from an F22. But I thought the vx didint have EGR. What might this connector be for?
2.I cant seem to find the o2 esnsor wires? Does the VX civic have a 1 wire or 5 wire o2?Also I wasnt planningon using a factory o2. I have a AEM UEGO, I was plannign on having it hooked up all the time. From my understanding, cant I just splice the single white wire(o2 signal) from the gauge to the one o2 wire on the civics body harness? And just adjust the wideband o2 so it reads as a narrowband? And adjust it back to wideband when tuning?
3.There is also an 8 pin connector with 7 pins installed near the distributor wires? I have no clue what its for?
4.There is also a 2 pin connector im unsure about. Wire colors are (Yellow..Green/Black). Reverse sensor maybe?
5.There is another 2 pin connector colors are (Blue/Yellow..Yellow/Black) Is this IACV?
6.Also there are 2x 3 pin connectors. I know one is TPS, is the other one the map? I thought the civic had the map mounted on the firewall, or is that aniother sensor I dont need?
7.I am going to be running a tuned p28, so I can disbale the knock sensor so thats not a problem. Im not using the intake butterflys so thats not a problem either. Nor do I want EGR.
