#10670 well looking at the pics you could mould some strips of fiberglass behind it and shape it and then hopefully that will fill it so after that you can put a layer of laquer over it. Ill go and have a look at the pic again and maybe give a diff opinion. No doubt Teal will give you a better answer

#10671 Clearcoat the piss out of it. Its never gonna look the same again, but in the mean time just spray the hell out of it.

When I first installed hood pins on my other car the hood went to shit in the spots I had to drill out. I just masked off the area and clearcoated it, didnt turn out half bad.

Repaint it if you want, just clearcoat might satisfy you. Like I said before though...the hoods never gonna be the same.

#10842 Since most carbon hoods have a uv protected epoxy on them you might notice some sun damage if you just clear it haha but i definately will never look the same.

You could also go the expensive route and with 2 side tape around the damage side, some plastic, some uv epoxy and vacume seal it. Wouldn't look the same but it would be as strong as it was before. I have never done it personally but we are doing composite repairing at school next year haha I read up on it a bit.
