#339062 That's the proper way to run HID's. Dumb ricers just put in the bulbs without the projectors which blinds other drivers.

Exactly, having proper projection lenses retrofitted into the stock lenses is the proper way to do it, your light output is phenomenal,
the light does not get scattered everywhere, and it looks sexy.
Even those Projectors off of eBay do not have the proper projectors and scatter light everywhere.

You can order the Spec-D Glass Lenses on eBay, but if you want the proper retrofit, with all of the additions that I will list below.
You should order from this website,
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/produc ... cts_id=237
They have the best of the best and you can order everything you need at once. The whole retrofit kit will cost you $340.00+Shipping

These are mine, D2S Mini Projector Bulbs, Gatling Gun Shroud, 4300K Phillips D2S 85122+ Bulbs w/ 5Five Morimoto Ballasts.

#339142 Though it might be a good component, I don't like the style of it at all. That center "eye" creeps me out...

#339145 I don't mind them. I think they're a lot better than those 1-piece "angel eye" headlights.
A YouTube comment really opened my mind one day,

By the way, how do your brights/hi-beams work? I don't get that.

You know what I do want to do though? Is convert the Password:JDM carbon fiber headlight ducts into functional HID's with a clear lens.
I think it would just look ridiculously wicked.

No joke, that would look awesome, haha
The way low and high work is actually called Bi-Xenon.

The bulb is actually blocked so that the beam is directed down while in low-mode. When the car's electronics are engaged and the high beam is selected, a magnet moves the bulb so that it is no longer blocked and you get "high" beam.

Sweet, thanks. I read about bi-xenon before but they made it sound like it was standard beam only.
