#200503 so im in thr process of doing a fulllllll wiree tuck and engine shave. i wanted to know what tricks there are to usung bondo. i know i gotta rought up the surface for it to stock to the paint but is a scotch bright pad suffcient enough? i dont think its qute enought scruff so what grit sand paper should i usem
basically i jave never used bondo before but know the basics i wanna know how to use it corrrectly bevause im doing my best on my bay. also ima be usung that usc icing stuff instead of ol bondo cause teal sad its stronger and im deathly afrad of it crackoing

#200505 200 grit. it will help it stick and you will be sanding the bondo with a higher grit anyways. i've been using it on my rex bay shave and just sand it down with finer grits in increments.

#200554 so im just gonna sand the bay with 200 grit, not till bare metal tho correct? just scuff it up real nice.

and then when i sand the bondo i sand gradually down from 200 to what 1000? so its smooth before paint.
