While i was with Discount Tire we had 3 warehouses totaling about 35K sq ft. and all they did was hold wheels like that.

Basically anytime you trade in wheels or leave them for Discount to "get rid of" ,if they are in good shape they will keep them to either re-sale, replace damaged wheels or give away (if the customer is that desperately in need).

The racks they used were about 20ft tall with the shelves spaced about 2ft between each.

Either way ... that's a lot of wheels still .... man i wish i still had connections in those warehouses .... employees could basically take what they wanted (limited to one set per month)

- Thu Nov 18, 2010 1:19 am #223372 my friend work for chop shop here.. he right, used japan made brand is like free stuff there. just collect them, those wheel are lying on the ground. back in here those rims sell in very high price.. dont blame them. here there no factory made light wheel or forged alloy wheels..
