- Sun Feb 06, 2011 6:11 pm #237322 i just got extended tophats from ebay and they are supposed to fit numerous shocks including skunk2 sport shock which is what i have. But yesterday when i went to install them, there is a metal washer that doesnt allow the top hat to go down far enough so i can put the top bolt back on. And without that washer, the shock shoots straight up and owns the hood. If anybody is running these or knows anything about them feel free to help

or does it just hit the bushing?
the ebay top hats come with bump stops that look like bushings for the struts but hey are not
they should be white if i remember corectly take those out and there should be regular shock bushings in the top hats the struts should be long enough now
