#162168 take off the axlenut, axle (does not need to be take out from the trans but from the hub), upper A-Arm, lower control arm, take off brake caliper.


assuming it you are going to replace those studs take it to get it pressed out any place that has a press can do it.

#162171 indeed you wll need a press. and you also will need to take off the nut for the tie rod and bang it out... i hate balljoints :lol:

#162172 yeah man who needs paint shop :lol: i was hopin i didnt need a press but oh well. ill just replace all the studs and do it right. so is that the only way to replace the wheel studs besides grinding them down?

#162174 its the only way lol... might as well go ahead and buy a new wheel bearing and ball joint if bad. get them all replaced at the same time! or go to the junker and get another spindle
