- Wed Feb 04, 2009 7:30 pm #94192 the front right lower control arm wont come out. i know how to take it off. the 3 bolts on the big bushing are off. the lower ball joint is off. the big bolt in the subframe keeps turning and turning and turning, it wont come out. i cant get behind the bolt, its inside the subframe. how can i take it out with out just getting a new subframe from the ass yard? im putting in new ones that have the holes for a sway bar. please help...............................

- Wed Feb 04, 2009 9:14 pm #94210 The nut on the inside is just tacked on. I was putting mine back together, and it back off of the subframe. It just rattles around now. Welded to fix

There is alot of pressure on that joint. Try prying the rear end of the arm toward the outside of the car. Maybe jack it up a little @ the point where it is stuck. Think the bolt goes in at 90 degrees but the arm through time has sagged to 86 degrees and is putting tension on it.
