self lowering?

Postby openshot » Thu Apr 15, 2010 3:39 pm

well just the drivers side front. is getting lower it looks. could it be my strut is starting to die? and i just put on my 15inch rims and it has bottomed out. i was running on 185,65,R14 then i put on new tires that where 195,60R15 but my new rims are 195,60R15 i dont really think it can be the tires.

it could be a worn strut, a cracked spring or even damaged bushing(s).

How much lower are we talking?

looks like about a inch i can push on the car and the wheel will hit the fender. oh i took it around some corners and she only hits when i turn right or go over bumps but if i go slow enuff she will not hit so i will take it slow. but should this be fixed asap or soon or later on down the road?

Fix now. At least that's what I would do. If this keeps up it will mess with the rest of your suspension too and possibly cause weird ass tire wear (in which case you will need new tires) or at the extreme put you in danger.
Straight lines are for sissies.
