something like this but instead of the amp on the floor you could mount it across from the sub. thats my fav setup. still have trunk space and spare tire hidden

I've seen set ups like that. They're very clean. Too bad they don't make that exact product for an EG hatch. I know it can be done, I've been researching more about it since I've posted this topic. I'll find more ideas and post it here to help other members as well.

Thanks for getting the site back up. Do you still have the sub and amp in there? If so what's your setup like? Are you running the mids and highs off the head unit or are they also powered off an amp? Did you have to dynamat parts of your hatch to lessen any rattles?
