#227971 my amp only turns on when the stereo is on the radio mode it turns off whhen i change to cd ipod or aux!

anmyone else ahad this problem?\

its a higher end sony head unit and mtx sub and amp.

#227982 You have the amp remote input on the electric aerial wire.

Theres another wire for amp turn on.

#229002 if you have an aftermarket stereo you have it connected on the all blue wire which is a remote but for the antenna, you need to connect it to the blue white unless you have an off brand stereo then the wire color vary

#230573 or you can wire it with a switch but you'll need a cable with 3 different wires in it. You just have to make sure you turn it off every time you stop for a while. I prefer doing it this way so when I dont want bass I just dont turn it on.
