#119871 does the stereo still work?

check the fuses under the hood for the stereo and clock. its on the same one i think.
when i was putting a after market one in the power wire hit metal and blew the fuse and it went dim.
my best guess...

#119939 are your headlights on?
that's when it's supposed to dim.

#120061 check under dash clock radio fuse. then check the 7.5 amp backup fuse in the underhood fuse box

#120208 Sounds like you wired your clock to accessory power. The clock wiring and the cigarette lighter wiring are connected to the radio.

white blue is constant power and should be connected to your aftermarket radio's yellow wire.

accessory power is red/yellow I believe. Could be yellow/red if my memory is backwards. This should be connected to your aftermarket radio's red wire.

Second likely option is that your radio's dimmer wire is incompatible. Just disconnect it, it's not necessary.
