- Thu Nov 17, 2011 7:15 pm #281785 any ideas? never seen this before i was gonna pull the ol' xbox trick but i thought i'd ask u's guys in case someones seen this before. like the title says 50 mph faster at all speeds including 0mph but only when the ignition is on.

- Fri Nov 18, 2011 3:47 am #281909 the xbox trick is reflowing solder. With the xbox, you wrap it up in a towel turn it on and flip it over. This gets the unit hotter than it would be, so the solder melts down back into the holes. I've heard you can reflow with an oven, or a hair dryer, but I would just take it apart and reflow with a soldering iron it personally, so I know it's all good.

- Tue Nov 22, 2011 6:22 pm #282486 i'll usually just take a heat gun to a random malfunctioning circuit board for about 15 minutes after wrapping the heat sensitive components in foil (caps and plastics) ive had pretty good results
