#220601 Hey Guys,

I’ve got a problem, I Have a JDM B16A and my coolant temp sensor has failed an I’m needing a new one, but the problem is that it is a rare/odd sensor, I’ve tried the b16a2 sensor but was too small.

I Have Called up the Honda Dealership, They said that they would call back when they find it, but it has been 4 days since then, so I don’t think they’re going to call back

Would anyone know where to get this from?

Also if the coolant temp sensor isn’t working would this explain why my cooling fan isn’t turning on? I’ve tested the fan motor and the fan fuses/relays an there all fine.

#220648 To test the sensor, check continuity between the two terminals at room temperature, then test again after submerging in boiling water for a minute or so. Your readings should be different....if not, bad sensor.

#220748 Do a google search for "spark plug non foulers" not sure if they sell them where you live... basically, they come in several sizes ranging from spark-plug size to large o2 sensor sizes. They have different size threads on the inside and outside...just a suggestion. Also might be able to go to a plumbing store for an adapter of some sort.
