- Thu Apr 01, 2010 1:11 am #184890 i cut the strip connecting the steering wheel to the hub while changing steering wheels and idk how to make the horn and airbag work anymore.. any help is much appreciated

- Thu Apr 01, 2010 1:27 am #184892 alrighty well airbag wouldnt be that great to fix as older airbags can get dangerous....but yea anyhow which part of the cable did you break the part inside the steering wheel peice, the cable comming off of that or the peice after the connector going into the depths of the dash .....

if you broke the ribbon in the steering area or cut the ribbon before the clip that connects it to the dash harness......you will need to get that peice i think its 3 screws and then unclip it

but if you cut the dash harness side....well you will need the harness from the center airbag ecu to the peice that broke....
