#182163 i think your gonna have to find a grommet or hole in the body and snake the wire up thru there maybe on the drivers side rear where it can go behind the rear panel....

#182757 Ugh. You don't put a hole in the bumper to make your rear fog light on a 5th Gen. Not only is it not OEM, it looks like ass.

Here's the best and cheapest way to make it look like OEM, from my own DIY.

#182946 Not a chance. That's all my original work. I'd like to see this other website that plagiarized my work, though.

Regardless - if you have a 6th Gen, the principle is the same. The rear fog is integrated into the existing tail lamp. Anything mounted in your bumper or elsewhere is aftermarket. Hopefully you've done your research. Uh, unless you're happy with aftermarket parts and holes in your bumper.

#182981 Ur both wrong... take a look
They have them here and I quote from www.jdmland.com or www.icbmotorsport.com

"HONDA STOP MAKING THESE, WE HAVE A FEW SET LEFT! Want to Win at the next JDM car showoff, this is what you'll need to complete your project! MUST HAVE! RARE JDM Fog Light Kit, Comes with exactly what you see here: 1. Rear Fog Light 2. Garish 3. Bracket 4. Switch (Shown EF9, but if you select the DC2 or EK9, we'll get you the fog light switch from the that car.
The DC2 switch is the JDM switch and the EK9 is the JDM and is the black switch. Brand New in Sealed Honda Package Please note that this kit is designed to be installed on the right side of the bumper only. Here's how the lights up installed on the right hand side."

Boooooooom nukka.

#182998 Any luck finding that other site that copied my work?

Sorry, I just don't think you've done your homework very well.

This took me mere nanoseconds to find using Google: Correct location for EDM rear fog....EK

I'm sorry if you spent your money on a genuine Honda item, but it is NOT OEM equipment for the 6th Gen, regardless of what that site says, though I understand how you would have been mislead. The rear fog advertised there is for a 4th Gen Civic (and the 94-01 Integra). For them to state that it is also for a 6th Gen is disingenuous.

The EDM rear fog light was on every Civic sold in Europe. Let me know if you see any like that on Auto Trader UK.

Examples:
http://pictures2.autotrader.co.uk/imgser-uk/servlet/media?id=1104961236 - Nope
http://pictures2.autotrader.co.uk/imgser-uk/servlet/media?id=1104263517 - Sorry
http://pictures2.autotrader.co.uk/imgser-uk/servlet/media?id=1098263210 - Still nothing

Pppfffffffff it says it right there if u open ur eyes it says EK9(type r if u didn't know what EK9 stands for) buddy.... and it is an origanal honda part....but I never said it was on a delorship line-up.... for example the 1999-2000 civic si came wit an opitional rear lip RARE BTW but u never see them on the car off the lot.... u gotta buy it opitonal....

Don't test myh honda ganster, and if I recall the question was how the fuck do u hook it up not let's test the posters honda knowledge....

#183021 Well, your knowledge is obviously lacking, so let this be a learning moment for you. I'm not testing you, I'm trying to prevent you from cutting up your bumper to put in parts that were never meant for your car.

The jdmland.com site is FALSE. The part you have is made by Honda but it is not meant for an EK9, an EK4 or any EK or any EJ for that matter -- as in, no 6th Gen Civics. It is meant for other Honda vehicles (as I mentioned) but NOT the 6th Gen Civic.

It is not a JDM OPTIONAL part, and it does not appear anywhere in the JDM 6th Gen Honda Access accessories catalogue.

The ONLY place rear foglights are installed is in the driver's side tail lamp. The EDM parts catalogue says this, the EDM Helms Service Manual says this, and any European EK owner will tell you this. Explain to me how these are wrong? If you believe anything different, it is because you are not well-informed.
