#70636 Like the subject says, my e-brake (handbrake) light comes on when I corner hard. I'm fairly confident I've also seen it blink on briefly during hard braking, so that tells me it's my massive amount of g-force (ha ha) that trigger it.
During normal driving it's always off, and I'm sure the e-brake isn't actually engaged.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Could it just be a dodgy wire somewhere that needs to be cleaned/reattached?

#70648 Besides being an ebrake indicator light, that light also indicates low brake fluid level. There are two wires going to the float your master cylinder cap.

#70664 Alright, I'll top up with brake fluid later on, see if that helps.
Cheers for the tip!

#71007 Seems like it was indeed the brake fluid.
It was about an inch below the MAX indicator, so I topped it up and haven't seen the red light since.

that has a reason, check your front brake pads.

if they are worn out the brakefluid level will lower and light will go on.
