i have changed the map sensor 3 times and still the same thing, and the car supputers hard and sound like it is missing. lol and somtimes cel code 14 comes on.
i have check the wiring all the way back to the ecu for the map sensor and its fine. I have check to see if i have had the tps and the map sensor plugs switched around and i dont. But it would not idle it would just bog out so i changed the map a 4th time cuz i have so many b sereris tb layong around and it idled but sputterd what could be the deal. also iam running a del sol non vtec ecu cuz my friend said it will work. what could be the deal.

#183995 alright well which map sensor plug are you using because the 94 harness should have the map in the harness but the 92 and i think 93 ciics came with the map on the firewall in the main harness.....so this would cause a problem since unlike the 94-95 civic the map sensor is not wired into the strut tower plugs so yea if your useing the map on the 94 harness then your ecu is not getting the map sensor signal throwing that code....

Also you need a P75 obd1 ecu to run that b series the del sol /civic ecu of the D.series will not run the motor correctly (wrong map setup and other things just wrong.....i mean it will run it but you wont run right....

#184071 Your map sensor has to have a vacuum connection to the intake plenum. Not your intake, not the open air.

What's code 14? Look it up before you ask us.
