depending on what year your car is what id do is unplug both your d.side and p.side (if equipped airbag just in case) and pull the yellow plug on the back of the cluster as this would be the easiest way to get rid of that light.... _________________

its easy theres only one yellow plug on the cluster (thats for srs) then once thats unplugged you will have no more annoying srs light on your cluster.... _________________

i never traced it but i highly doubt it as the yellow plug is tied into the the cluster dash harness which besides that yellow plug on the back of the cluster there really isnt any other yellow plug on that harness... _________________

There is a screw behind the clock blank. You're going to need a panel remover tool also.
I'm with you man. Leave the cluster alone if you haven't pulled it before you're going to break stuff. On the floor behind your radio is the SRS computer. Unplug that. Then unplug the yellow connector at the fuse box and remove the SRS fuse. If you want to totally remove the airbag setup, then there are sensors under the firewall mat on each side.
It's not true that the SRS harness is integrated into the dash harness. You can completely gut the SRS wiring, ECU, airbag, and sensors and save some weight. The only thing is that the horn wire and airbag trigger wire are together on the steering column. However, if you have an aftermarket steering wheel, you've taken care of this already.
If you want to remove that SRS module from the back of the cluster, just be aware that this leaves a noticeable hole in the cluster. The easiest thing to do is to cover the SRS light slot with a piece of black tape. _________________

There is no screw behind the clock blank as thats screwed in so you wouldnt be able to remove it theres two on top where the cluster is and one behind teh hazard switch.....
to take it out pop the p.side off first and then d.side and make sure the vant on the d.side is closed idk why but when its open seems to me that its harder and more apt to break....
and also yes you can cut the plugs off but im pretty sure the srs light plugis in teh harness as you cant simply take the three wires out as there is no seperate plug theres a main srs harness linked to the srs ecu that you can take out but there are still some plugs integrated into things that unless you tore everything out you wouldnt be able to get out easily.... _________________
