#235201 Ive just sat and read this from start to finish for the first time. my eyeballs hurt. but it really is an amazing story, real inspiration for my new hatch :D

Im seriously tempted to go boosted D16 now (learn from your mistakes )

and really, the before and after wet sand and polish is seriously impressive. did you use an electric polisher or do it by hand? Im looking forward starting on my DX :D

#237373 idk about in ohio but over here in nebraska you could take you wheels to a truck wash ex. blue beacon and they could spay them with there soap and or brightener and it should take most of that stuff off. If that dont work scotch bright pad and soft scrub they should be nice and white again. i work at a truck wash this is how i know this.

how did you run your fuel lines and where is the filter i dont like my fuel filter on my fire wall.
and did you grind off all the studs that were on the fire wall
sorry for all the questions i just want my car to look half as good as yours

I'm not 100% sure on the height... At first I lowered 1 5/8 inches back in the day. Then after I painted it I went a little bit lower. Then when I mounted the works wheels I went down about 1 more inch. So I would guess I'm close to 3" total drop? Sorry I can't say for sure.

Well... I did put my old old wheels on last week because there's road construction and loose gravel everywhere:

And while I had the jack out, I tried on a set of wheels I've had in the vault for a little while... OZ Racing Starlights 15x7 + 32 one of 3 known sets!

I like them and they're forged and light as hell, but I'm torn between keeping these or the TE37's

#259697 I would so keep those and like you said too. Those are very rare and not everyone has them!! Plus for being a 15 inch rim and weighing I think around 11lbs each wheel, thats pretty dam good. Didn't someone sell some on here too?

If you wanna sell them though, I WANT!! LOL :thumb:
