#319239 We are 2000% boned.
Both candidates do have redeeming qualities, but those are severely overshadowed by their bad points. Obama wants us to be a socialist nation and Romney is ALL about big business.

If ONE makes more sense to me, it's Romney though. I'd much rather have someone who wants to keep the rich rich than make the rich poor. Think of it this way: why is it fair for me to take money from someone that earned it while I did nothing?

Which my response is vague and kinda sparatic, I'm posting via phone and don't have the time or desire or concern to try and change someone's opinion the day before elections.

#319247 why cant we just have a good election i swear people just want to complain that o said presidents not doing a good job so put me in power and ill get stuff done......Im sure the founding fathers are turning over in their graves seeing all that has gone on and what has happened to the country they thought so much of....hows this get rid of republican and democrats and who knows we might actually get facts and might actually have someone good in office. Like i read in history books our first president mentioned a 2 party system would tear this country apart and he was right....

Not to mention i like how everyone feels obamas a muslim etc etc though hes christian i like the whole not expressing the faith in office. as thats really how it should be.....but Romney ugh...no one wants to mention his faith is founded upon some guy who in a time where everyone was trusting who read things out of a hat....aka watch south parks version there are many lies within i mean if he wasnt allowed to take the tablets from the area he found them in then how was he able to translate them at the house....the other thing on romney is his temper found a interview on youtube about him talking about his religion and out of no where he yells you think im wrong i know my religion etc etc....even though the guy had the information right up there....

and my favorite thing that came from this election.....

#319292 If this is a bitch and complain thread..

Obama sucks.
Romney sucks.
3rd party sucks.

We need a REAL person in office before we blow ourselves up or some shit. Someone who was never rich. Someone who understand the rich need to stay right, the poor need help but should have the ability to not become dependent on the hand that feeds, and understand the middle class is THE most important part of our economy. Keep us happy and we will keep our Nation rolling.

Until there is someone like that, I will refuse to vote and continue to complain. :thumb:

I think that the state of our economy is always going to continue to decline from here on out, no matter who is in office. Our population is always growing, and we're outsourcing more jobs overseas every day which makes the top rich wealthier. The top 1% or so then buy more companies, send more jobs overseas, putting more Americans out of work. It's a snowball effect based on greed at the top and people at the bottom buying Chinese junk at walmart. Throw in the housing bust and you have an ugly situation accelerated. During the recession we have crossed the threshold from the point where there were enough jobs here to keep employment at a low percentage. The mid-late 20th century will be looked back upon as the golden years when the US was on the top of the world. It's not possible for any president to recreate those conditions in today's world. Yay globalization!

Technology is also reducing the need for jobs in the US. We're doing everything electronically which is a growing trend that is making workers obsolete. Technology may create some jobs, but not nearly as many as it eliminates (I'm guessing). On a side note, some Ohio E-check stations have 24 hr self serve scanners outside now!

No one is trying to make the rich poor...thats the bullshit republicans spew in order to make sure they keep geting their pockets lined. Your pathological liar Romney makes a shit load more money than you...and I'm sure you EARN your money as I do, yet he pays a hell of a lot less in taxes. He hides money off shore and pays nothing on that...that shit isnt fair either. Romney has no real plan for anything..he flip flops more than a fish out of water.
As far as Obama wanting to turn us into a socialist country...that is simply not true. We already have several "socialist" programs in place and have for years. There is nothing wrong with making sure they remain in place and continue to work as they have for years.
I am voting for the person I think truly has the best interest of the country at heart and I can tell you it aint Romney. I don't trust him as far as I can throw him...he is like a pushy used car salesman at a sleazy lot in some desert town you have never heard of. He comes across as a scumbag

#319309 The poor becoming rich isn't meant in a literal sense.. BUT when they can coast on welfare, handouts, free cell phones, etc. where do you think that money comes from? essentially they are not getting rich in a monetary sense.. but rather "rich" with handouts for doing nothing. which is what Obama is all about. handouts for everyone..

and personally, i would much rather have someone who wants to keep the rich, rich in office than anyone else.. because who do you think creates jobs? people with money.

i, however, am refusing to pick "a lesser of two evils". i'd rather eat my vote than waste it on one of two idiots.

everyone is entitled to their own opinions and i respect yours.

That's why they have 3rd parties. Yeah, you'll pretty much be throwing your vote away to make a statistic/statement that you are not happy with they way the D's and R's are running the country. But if 3rd party candidates were to total 5%, 10% etc of the total votes then the Dems and Reps might finally that they both need to get their shit together and do the job that taxpayers pay them to do.

On a side note, did eveyone see the electronic voting machine rigged to pick Romney instead of Obama?
http://youtu.be/QdpGd74DrBM
I read that these voting machines were supplied by a company in which Romney has invested... :weee:
