vtec pressure switch qestion!!

ok so my cousin has a obd1 b18c1 that he put in his 95 cx hatch. and he was wondering if they come wit a vtec pressure switch? cuz his doesnt and says the vtec isnt coming on.

it looks like the hole came stock like that, it doesnt look like its missing something. but at the same time theres an exta plug, so whats the deal??? cuz the obd2 def has one. please help!!!

They definitely have a VTEC pressure switch...

yeah it has that part, so what is the part or sensor thats right underneath it?? it uses that green plug thats on the second pic, cuz my other cousin has an obd2 b16 and it uses that exact same plug. please help....

you can get 1 from www.inlinefour.com and yes it has 1 thats y your VTEC is not ripping

ok i saw the part, but my question is that if you look at the block were the vtec oil pressure switch is supposed to be it has no thread in it(pic 1). in the part at the tip it has a thread, so thats my question if obd1 gsrs' come wit that. oh and we know that the harness is not for that engine, it might be a obd2 but the other owners probably did the obd1 conversion. so thats the reason it has that green plug(pic 2). this is what i think but if someone else has another theory your welcome to post it. thanx

Your ECU should be throwing a CEL.

You can permanently ground the pin for the VTEC pressure switch at the ECU. It's pretty simple to cut the wire, crimp a ring terminal to it, then slip it over one of the studs that mount the ECU.

ok so by grounding that pin the vtec should work? so what do you think? do the obd1 gsrs come wit oil pressure switch?
