Too much fuel? (b18c1)

I have h22 injectors and an upgraded fuel rail and blah blah. Off the line the car runs good as soon as I am in second and vtec is fixing to pop I bog BAD. I think I might be getting to much fuel? For those of you who don't know I just got this hatch about a week ago so..What else could be the problem? If I run it hard in first and gradually get on it in second its fine. Going into any other gear is fine. If I down shift to get on it it will bog too. Vtec does it hard though no problems there.

Yes. Why would you need to do any fuel mods? The stock setup has plenty of capacity. Unless you have a turbocharger or some serious N/A mods.

I didn't do the mods. I just got the car like this. It is semi built though...So you suggest toning the fuel down a lil?

So I shouldn't adjust anything? You think its my ecu? What do you think about the s300?

K so today is the first day since I got it that its stopped raining. SO I started to look at what I bought. So first thing I did was check out my ecu since I was "chipped" I wanted to see it since I had 2 step. Low and behold I don't see anything in my ecu. Stock p28. I did find msd though. So I'm pretty sure I"m not chipped. lol.

Get the stock injectors and fuel rail.

Define "built". That could mean any millions of things, especially in the Honda scene.

But to clarify what I was saying originally... under normal driving, the ECU uses O2 feedback to adjust the fuel. If you have upsized your various fuel components, most likely it will be pulling back fuel. And as long as youre not too far from stock, it should do okay. However, when you put the throttle all the way down and the RPMs climb past a certain point, the ECU ignores O2 feedback and runs off it's pre-defined map. This map was designed purely for safety, so it basically says "dump as much fuel as possible". As you can see, if you have upsized your fuel system, but your build doesn't warrant it, it's going to kill engine power. It will also wash the oil off the insides of your bores, and that's not such a good thing.

This is what is done to the motor.

•Head shaved 10,000
•Supertech valvetrain
•00 ITR cams
•5 angle valve job
•Mugen high comp head gasket
•Block decked and shaved 5,000
•Kms block guard
•Oversize Ctr profile pistons 81.75mm
• Crank balanced and micro polished
• Rods shot peened and balanced
• Skunk 2 tuner cam gears
• Gates racing timing belt
• Arp head studs and rod bolts
• Hytech header
• Greddy exhaust
• Full msd ignition and wires
• 1st gen skunk 2 intake manifold
• STR fuel rail
. Msd fuel pump
. fuel regulator
.Eldebrok throttle body
• H22 injectors
. Acl racing bearings
• Megan racing lightweight pulley (has been balanced with crank and flighwheel)

I think my fuel setup is for like 500+hp. Also upon further investigation in my engine bay I see different spots that have more structure then others. Took it to a buddies house and he said from the way everything is done that it moght of had a k20 in it. I don't know for sure about this nor do I really care. Just saying.

There is no way a chipped ECU is taking all that into consideration.

So I was chillen with my boy the other day and we were discussing this bog issue. I was telling him I think I'm getting to much fuel. He asked if I was smoking at all and I told him no. He said if I was running to much fuel there would be smoke?
