hi there everyone rite my car is runing now ...when its runing my car idled at 1200 and then up to 1500 up and down surgess all the time and the ecu has thrown up a code 6 ect could this do that .... thanks for your time everyone ... and what a cool site to be part of..

ECT Sensor (Engine Coolant Temperature)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

If not what year model is the car, and what kind of ECU do you have in it?
