- Thu Apr 23, 2015 3:13 am #353388 Hoping you guys can help me out. I recently had my b16 motor rebuilt. All new seals/gaskets. Supertech valve train, new headgasket etc. I started it up for the first time today and after about 5 minutes of idleing it over heats and the temp gauge goes all the way to H. I didn't put the motor together but I did buy a thermostat and was told it was put in. I tried getting all the air bubbles out and pretty sure I did. Anyone know what else it can be? It's really bothering me. Should I change thermostat to see if that's the problem?

Not saying all mechanics are bad, but you never know.
Double and triple check everything before you crank it again.

Drive it HARD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fluid came out and it was good to go, blowing hot air and all.
