- Wed May 28, 2014 3:54 pm #345948 Ok i just picked up a eg with a jdm b18b. Can anyone tell me how much oil it takes. I see so many different answers but im sticking with the 4.3 quarts. But the reason its so hard is i dont think i have the right dip stick. so let me know thanks.

4.6 liters/4.9 quarts/4.0 lmp qts for engine overhaul
3.8 liters/4.0 quarts/3.3 lmp qts for oil change, including filter
3.5 liters/3.7 quarts/3.1 lmp qts for oil change, without filter

So, assuming you're doing an oil change with filter, 4 quarts. just did my oil change again Saturday and it was spot on 4 quarts.
