- Wed Mar 05, 2014 9:45 pm #343186 Ive had three LS' come into my shop recently that the owner or previous owner installed a valve cover set incorrectly, allowing oil to leak into the spark plug holes and cause a misfire.

Check to make sure the plugs and plug wires are dry.
