Hi guys, we have been on today putting a b16a into a friends civic vei with the d15z1 vtec-e motor, we converted the 02 sensor from 5 wire to 4, wired in the knock sensor and map sensor. Only we cannot get vtec to engage, when the car is driving and gets to 5800rpm the cel comes on, when it's switched off the cel goes but flashes code 21. We have tried changing solenoids, and have even ran a cable from the solenoid straight to the ecu to no avail. The ecu is a uk p30 with an apparent sir map on it. Can any one help us out?
