So I'm getting a small drip of oil coming out between the head and block. I just rebuilt the motor (b18b) and used arp studs do I need to go back in and retorque the studs after I have cycled the motor?

if they were installed properly they should not have to be re torqued. or atleast everyone i have seen doesnt need to.

arp says hand tight for the studs i like to go a bit further and tighten them with wrech.

are you sure the mating surfaces were clean? and how about warping?

some people say to torque to spec, allow to idle to normal operating temperature, cool down at least 2 hours, retorque, then run for 1 week, cool to room temperature and retorque.

Did you put any sealant on the oil passages on both sides of the head gasket?

FYI unless you didn't follow proper torque tightening sequence your issue has nothing to do with the use of ARP studs.
