need help with fixing a map sensor code

i just swapped my hatch with a 94 gsr motor . its throwing i believe code 5 which is map sensor . how do i go about checking mines ? when i jump the wire to read the code it blinks once with a pause then blinks 5 times then starts over . so im guessing o2 sensor and map sensor code ???

Since you get one blink and then 5 after that it sounds more like code 15 to me which is ignition output signal

its a slow blink pause then blink blink blink blink blink . my car starts and drives but shuts off on me and dies and does not want to start sometimes .; would that ignition code 15 do that . and how will i go about fixing that problem ?

My crx and my ej did that. Turns out a sensor inside the dizzy way bad. You can diagnose the dizzy with a shop manual and a ohm meter

yea, code 15 is something to do with output in the distributor. id first check the wires at the distributor plug, then if they're good I'd try a new/known good distributor.
