Im gonna be breaking in my engine soon after the mech. finish re-build and assemble the engine
he told me to use 20w50 oil, but when i used google most of the stuff i found said to use 10w30 or 10w40 so im a bit unsure now what to really use, dont want to damage my engine alot of $$ was spent..also what oil to use after the engine has been breaked in? 10w30????

This gonna be NA or boosted?

Either way, i'd start with Brad Penn high zinc break-in oil. I'd go with the weight your builder recommends cause he's the one that set the oil clearances and sounds like he set them to run a good thick oil. But yea, Brad Penn oil is the shit and not outrageously expensive.

ive just used the cheapest shit the parts stores sells as long as its non-detergent and then switched over to brad penn 10w30.
