My car always stays at 1,000 rpm when I start it. I think the guy adjusted it like that because it was tuned rich with a p28 ecu on chrome.

I heard that the best rpm to set for idleing is 500. What do you recommend for a B16A engine? I dont have any problems with idling or with my engine.

I tested to see what transmission I have. I was going 80 MPH and My RPMS was at 3500. So I have a LS tranny. But since my car automatically jumps to 1,000 RPM when I start it does that have mean I have to add 1,000RPM to my 3,500 RPM? (which would mean 4,500 rpm = Type R tranny) (I dont think so)

Oe spec idle is between 750 and 850.

And no, idle rpm has zero to do with cruise rpm.
